From Guiding Individual Clinicians to Building the Institutions That Train Them
Syllabi is the platform through which our founders scale the work they once delivered individually — bringing together experienced educators, clinicians, researchers, and institutional partners to build healthcare education institutions.

OUR STORY
]
It Started With One Clinician at a Time
Syllabi was founded in 2021 as a US-registered educational consultancy with a mission to improve access to education across Africa and the Middle East. We began by opening doors for individual clinicians: as the official endorsed affiliate of the University of Montana’s transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program, we brought a tuition-reduced, accredited American doctorate to physical therapists across East, Central, and West Africa — and guided professionals through admissions, credentialing, and career advancement.
That work taught us something larger. The demand we saw — thousands of professionals across the Gulf and Africa searching for affordable, accredited, high-quality education — was not a problem any single program could solve. The bottleneck was institutional. So we moved upstream. Today, Syllabi helps governments, investors, universities, and healthcare organizations conceive, design, launch, and strengthen the institutions the region needs.
“Over the past few decades we have seen exponential growth and change in Africa, and we believe it can only be sustained by increasing accessibility to education.”

OUR MISSION
]
Talent Is Not the Shortage. Institutions Are.
Many regions face shortages of healthcare professionals not due to a lack of talent, but because educational ecosystems have not kept pace with demand. Our role is to help visionary organizations build institutions that produce competent graduates, strengthen healthcare systems, and create lasting social impact.

WHY SYLLABI
]
We Are Not a Bunch of Analysts
Large consulting firms are excellent at producing reports. We specialize in implementation. Our team brings 50+ years of combined experience spanning university leadership, international academic partnerships, rehabilitation education, curriculum development, research, faculty development, humanitarian work, and direct experience with regulatory bodies. Whether it is teaching a class, writing a syllabus, navigating a licensing authority, or coordinating university programs that produced hundreds of graduates — everyone on our team has done the work we advise on.
We also bring something the global firms cannot: years of direct dialogue with the students, clinicians, and employers of the Gulf and Africa. We know what learners in the region are seeking, what health systems require, and what educational models actually produce results here.

OUR VALUES
]
Integrity, humility, cooperation, innovation, and leadership have guided Syllabi since its founding — from serving individual students to advising boards and ministries. Our clients are not accounts; they are essential partners in a shared mission.

We’d Like to Hear What You’re Building.
Every institution we have helped build began as a conversation. Bring us yours — the ambition, the constraints, and the questions you have not resolved yet.
